Strong nesting instincts seem to have kicked in. In the hour we spent watching the nest, the female only left the nest twice, each time for less than one minute. The male returned with a live fish that he killed and ate. We left before he delivered the female her share.

| Note how the father is carrying this rather large fish. When you consider an Osprey weights in at under 6 Lbs, this is even more impressive. |
