July 17--Chicks were quiet..but help was on hand

On the 17th, we dropped by at around noon for a short visit. When we showed up and there was an adult on the edge of the nest who disappeared shortly after we arrived. The adult looked female, but was hard to id until we got home. Five minutes later dad showed up with a fish. Upon closer examination of the pictures at home, we confirmed they were different birds. So dad has at least one helper who is landing in the nest.

And dad comes back with lunch...
